Summary
Ray takes immense pride in his profession as master butcher, but the business is failing as is his sauna, opened with help from his best friend, Eddie. Eddie is set to appropriate Ray's wife Beryl, and Ray's house by issuing a summons through the County Bailiff for money owed to him. In other words - to 'bust' Ray. Ray's children, Yvonne and Mark, are going through the usual identity problems with Mark, especially, confused over his sexuality. Beryl feels unloved and jealous of her daughter. Things reach a head when Ray, finding out who is behind the summons, smashes up the home. The family takes to squatting in a tent, evoking memories of camping holidays and when Eddie arrives to claim Beryl, she has already been repossessed by Ray. The sauna's future is assured by Yvonne's negotiations with the local police force, so, united, the family draw lose to face the world.
